Les Dentelles – a piece of heaven on earth
Les Dentelles, a jagged small chain of mountains, situated in the Vaucluse region of Provence has to be one of my favourite places in France. Nestled in some of the most famous vineyards of the Rhone, Les Dentelles range is over 8km wide and has more than 600 walking and running trails.
[…] My preference is always to use the car where possible because there are some many things to see and do en route – Calais to Avignon is about 970km and that will take about 8.5 hours.
